Medical Flora containing a selection above 100 figures and descriptions of medical plants, with their names, qualitites, propertites, history, &c. and notes or remarks on nearly 500 equivalent substitutes. This is considered Rafinesque's most important work and became the vade-mecum of the Botanic physician. This study of plants attempted to provide a medical botany adapted to the needs of the physician and pharmacist. This e-book contents some aditional colored plates and sumary of the medicinal plants. The contents of the Medical Flora were specialy formated in a stand alone e-book that include full word search in all pages, keyword search, navigation toolbar and navigation content.
